PADI Staff Instructor

IDC Staff Instructors have an important job to do — they help Course Directors train new dive instructors. As a Staff Instructor, you’re in a unique position to help craft excellent PADI instructors and pass along the skills and wisdom you’ve learnt during your own career.

 

If you’ve been working in the water for a while, hold an MSDT instructor rating, and are ready to progress further, the Staff Instructor course is your next step. You’ll learn more about teaching professional-level courses and how to get the most out of candidates.

 

Amr IDC welcomes enquiries from Staff Instructor candidates. You can choose to join a real-life IDC while you train or follow a shorter, simulated course. 

Duration

  • 5 days of simulation with a CD and full IDC program

Prerequisites

  • PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Materials

  • PADI Course Director Manual and IDC presentations online (multilingual)

  • PADI Confined Open Water, and Skill Evaluation Slates
